Standing For The Yemeni People

Updated: Nov 29, 2023

In light of the recent humanitarian crisis, the Baby Party proposes a new policy in providing relief to the people of Yemen. This policy known as the "Aid of Yemen" lists out the many steps that can be taken to rebuilding and stabilizing the disaster that has overtaken Yemen. The details of the policy are listed below.

Aid of Yemen:

  • This policy will grant a total of 50 billion dollars to help the people of Yemen financially.

  • Here’s how this money can be used:

    • Water/Sanitation

      • Money will be used to create clean water wells. There will be two types:

        • Normal Wells: These wells will be year-round use and open every year. They will make use of the water table and groundwater to provide sanitation and clean water to the people of Yemen.

        • Seasonal Wells: These wells will make use of the monsoon season that occurs in Yemen. The goal of these wells are to store up as much water as possible so that it can be used by more people. These wells are meant to help the people if the water table gets low.

    • Food

      • Since Yemen’s climate is extremely hot and dry, the food provided will need to withstand this climate.

      • The U.S. will help show/set up small family gardens for the Yemeni People. The U.S. will provide as many families as possible with the needed supplies to garden. The U.S. will also help show the people how to garden.

      • Plants that will be farmed include:

        • Tomatoes

        • Squash

        • Peppers

        • Melons

    • Medical Need

      • The U.S. will send a few Medical Professional Doctors/Nurses (who are fully Vaccinated) to help the people of Yemen. These people will be accompanied by some Military personnel (about 5 military personnel per doctor/nurse) in case an emergency/attack happens.

      • These Doctors/nurses will also bring funded medicine to the people of Yemen in hopes of helping treat some of the diseases experienced by people.

      • These nurses/doctors will help teach capable Yemeni people about basic ways to help those with disease and injury.

      • The Government will also fund gynecologists to accompany some of the doctors. The gynecologists will help provide aid to many of the mothers who struggle with pregnancy/birth

      • These doctors will stay a minimum of 6-8 months and a max of 1 yr. They will be funded by the government for the time they spend in Yemen.

  • This policy is not meant to be permanent, and is expected to last for 1- 3yrs. It is meant to help get the Yemeni people back on track. It is, however, not expected to reach every person in Yemen, but it should be a large majority of the Yemeni people.
